Correction in Trends

Last week BiZZarts was mentioned in Trends Magazine.  However there was a severe mistake in the article.  BiZZarts only tends to work with orchestras or cultural institutions who do receive funds from government but still have problems to do their work due to budget.  Trends listened to us and inserted a correction (some of you already found it, and received a nice present...) For the history, we show the correction so you stay well informed... By the way, in the correction itself there is another error...:-)  However our visual on Facebook has the same error...

BiZZarts setting a TREND(S)?



As you may know , last year we started together  a new initiative called BiZZarts.  You may find more info on www.bizzarts.org and www.facebook.com/bizzarts (become a fan!)

We are very pleased to get some press coverage in the Belgian press.  Last , Thursday BiZZarts got a 2 pager article in 'TRENDS', the economic magazine in Belgium.

Good readers will see there is a huge error mentioned in the article (second half of it).  So next week there will be an erratum in TRENDS.

Minister Schauvlieghe heeft enkele alinea's in haar beleidsnota - die het vooral over besparingen heeft - gewijd aan de 'alternatieve financiering van de kunstwereld'. We zijn een jaar na die nota en de kaasschaaf wordt genadeloos gehanteerd. De cultuurwereld heeft, nu meer dan ooit, nood aan fondsen.

 

Bizzarts werd vorige week uitgenodigd op het cultuurkabinet. Ons model klonk, in het licht van die zoektocht naar alternatieve financiering, interessant en we werden gevraagd het verder toe te lichten.

In een aangenaam gesprek konden we Jan Vermassen, kabinetsmedewerker van de minister,

BiZZarts collaborates with Vlerick Management School

Vlerick Management School selected BiZZarts as a partner for the Odysseus Management program they roll-out for SNS Reaal Bank.

In this 3 day program, managers of SNS Reaal will learn about Leadership. Therefore on the 16th of November, BiZZarts will conduct a session for the Management of SNS Reaal Bank.

BiZZarts @ Bruges: Project becomes product

At 15.00 hours 03/03/2010 started the first session with managers of companies.

We were welcoming people from IBM, Asco, Sibelga, Brussels Airport, HR Lab and  VKW.

It was a busy schedule but the interaction between the conductor on the one hand, Jos van Immerseel, members of the orchestra and the other trainers and managers were spitant.
